I use these cones to help relax a very tight sphincter.

In these years, along with other symptoms, I have suffered a mild ED problem, nothing too dramatic but anyway erections not strong as before, etc. etc. Worth nothing: years ago, when I first ...

Her work should be judged from the resonance it has on the scientific world. I don't think it made any kind of wave at conventions.

Re: Libido sensation
Neue, I think it's very hard to find a convincing explanation to the CPPS/ED connection. I've had times when I thought it was a psychological thing, others when it all seemed a mechanical/organic thing, others when a clear connection to muscle tension seemed obvious. At the beginning of 2007 ...

Re: Adrenocortical Hormone Abnormalities in Men with CP/CPPS
More (basic) questions:
If this was a game of hormones/enzyme, how does trigger point help? I can see relaxation playing a role though.
If a lack of cortisol leads to muscle tension issues, you can develop trigger points everywhere. Probably the pelvic floor is one of the most susceptible areas ...

I have a question for Dr. Dimitrakov:
Can a deficiency in cortisol pathways also be related to the (generally intermittent) ED issues which plague many CPPS patients?

Re: Loss of sensation in penis
Hello,
as far as I know, loss of sensitivity in the penis is temporary. When I had my first flare up, years ago, I lost sensitivity for a week, so try to remain calm: it will get better.

Hello Gary,
no I haven't had any PT work because I live in Italy and no one here knows about the Stanford/Wise-Anderson Protocol. I'm planning to go to San Francisco sooner or later, but so far I have just read AHIP.
I feel our problems lie in the muscles, yes. Muscles are overtense, weak and can ...

Re: Mazzoli — In Italy, Prostatitis = Chlamydia
I've managed to read a bit of that AISPEP, and here's what I think about it. Italy's urologist practice is really out of date right now: Italian medicine has some really advanced fields, like cardiology or oncology, along with many outdated ones. Urology is badly dated, because is made by ...

Re: Mazzoli — In Italy, Prostatitis = Chlamydia
I don't think the start of chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome is an infection, I believe chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome comes out from some anxiety disorder that somatizes into muscle tension. I have suffered of muscle tension issues for years, not only in the ...

Re: Mazzoli — In Italy, Prostatitis = Chlamydia
No, I haven't met them. I had an exam on the MST center where Mazzoli works, and invariably came out with a Chlamydia diagnosis. Guercini has been infamous for many years on this board, but to be frank, I have understood quite early that no italian doctor can handle the situation down there. Has ...

Marco,
how's the position of Guercini about chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome right now? What does he actually do in his practice? Won't comment on Mazzoli, she found chlamydia on me back when I didn't know anything about this forum
