Was there useful discussion on the role of nerves in the noxious cycle (flare) and useful ways to cut short a flare once it begins.
? The same as to the anxiety vicious cycle.

Long Flights and long drives
Long flights and long drives often are the trigger for a full flare for me. How have you dealt with this issue on your long trip?

I don't tend to get flares from too much sitting - just an increase in pain which goes away pretty quickly with stretching and some triggerpoint work. I'm lucky enough to be flying business class - so I get one of those little booths with a seat that goes flat - though even with that the flight over felt looong.robertpagen wrote:Long flights and long drives often are the trigger for a full flare for me. I'll respond to your other question once I'm back in the UK - currently about to board my flight at SFO. We were shown a fascinating video of triggerpoints relating to stress and relaxation.
